Lessons

All students must have an ASTM approved riding helmet and fully enclosed hard soled shoes to take lessons.

PeeWee's Lesson is for children ages 2 to 5, format is based on child's attention span. One adult, either one of the the parents or family members, works one on one with the child and the instructor to instill good horse handling skills from an early age. 

Regular format is for all graduates of the PeeWee classes or anyone who is over age 5 coming in as a beginner or advanced student. Format is 1 1/2 hrs, students are given several private lessons untill they are capable of joining the group format. Group format is up to 6 riders in one lesson. Groups are divided according to level of riding skills. All students are taught an emergency dismount so as to be able to safely dismount in the event of an imminent fall.
